The peoples of the Philippines and China have been interacting with one another for centuries before the formal establishment of diplomatic relations on 9 June 1975.

Since then, the breadth and scope of the bilateral relations between our two countries have grown immensely, covering cooperation in the fields of politics, defense, trade, investments, finance, tourism, agriculture, science and technology, culture, education, sports, media, and people-to-people exchanges.

This wide-ranging cooperation over the years is bringing tangible benefits to the peoples of the Philippines and China.

The Philippine Embassy, along with its Consulates in Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Chongqing, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macau Administrative Region, are committed to further enhancing and deepening the ties between the Philippines and China.
